Stacy Tao

 

Born in Brazil to Scandinavian-American and Chinese parents, very early on, Stacy had an interest in all things aesthetics and how the objects that surround us are built. After moving to the U.S. he pursued his love for art and design and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale; graduating with honors and winning Best Portfolio Award. After 10 years as senior product designer at one of South Florida’s premier design firms, he now runs his studio servicing clients in North America and abroad. His latest is his best project, and he’s always looking forward to the next challenge. Stacy Tao Industrial Design has a proven track record of helping companies and top brand manufacturers bring successful products to the marketplace. Design Process

Trends & Market Research

Each project begins with a thorough collection of information to assist the design process, whether by field research or data gathering from web sources.

 

Product Design & Visualization

Photo realistic product renderings that communicate the design, finish, materials, fabrication methods and details.

 

3D Rendering

Additionally, we provide product renderings for existing products for marketing or instructional material.

 

Technical Drawings/CAD

Orthographical drawings of products are generated from scaled 3D models that provide the blueprint for making each component of the product.

 

Prototyping

We work with manufacturers and fabricators to create the parts and determine the right material for the application.
